Hutton Fountain Vandalised again!

This is a shameful and mindless act which will serve to cast doubts as to whether the Arboretum will survive after the recent 5.5 million restoration.

Following a successful investigation and information provided by the cameras, the culprits have now been located and are to be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law.

The fountain is to be restored after the commencement of the night time lock up policy.

The remaining top bowl section was recently tipped off its pedestal by vandals.

The Heritage Lottery Fund takes a very dim view of this type of activity, which could lead to penalties for Derby City Council  and its council tax payers.

It is understood that video can be made available to to aid the arrest and conviction of the vandals.
