CCTV Cameras

As part of the Urban Regeneration Programme the now familiar  CCTV cameras are now operating at ALL entrances to the Arboretum and Rose Hill Recreation Ground.

None of the Heritage Lottery Grant money has been used for this purpose.

Right: Camera installation work in progress, this camera is on Reginald Street and would have gone 'Live' within a few hours of installation.

This camera also offers security for St. James School.

These cameras are exceptionally powerful, they have been credited with the ability to enable the viewer to read a newspaper at 300 metres in poor lighting conditions.
